Citium Signs Partnership Deal With RAB to Provide Citium Promotions Engine To RAB Affiliates

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 4 -- Citium Inc., an industry leader in non-traditional revenue generating services and technologies, has signed a long-term marketing partnership agreement with radio marketing, research, and services entity Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), which will bundle Citium's Promotions Engine with RAB's existing e-commerce solution package.

``Our goal is to work on behalf of stations to identify revenue generating opportunities,'' says RAB Executive VP Dave Casper. ``Citium's product is just a very, very good product.'' All 5,900+ RAB member stations, network members, representative firms, and sales organizations in the U.S. or abroad will be able to implement the Citium enhanced RAB e-commerce solutions package as soon as November, 2000.

Citium offers traditional media companies robust turn key and custom promotion solutions delivered to PC and wireless WAP phone users via the web. Citium's Promotions Engine includes dynamic business listings, coupons, and micro-pages; which can be accessed and modified in real time. ``It's so easy to use, it's foolproof,'' comments Casper. ``Stations are just not in a position where they can do all this on their own.''

More than 4,600 U.S. radio stations have web sites, a number which will most likely see a dramatic increase by the end of this year. Radio station advertising revenue has grown significantly over the last seven years; totaling $17.7bn in 1999 (an increase of 14.6% over 1998). ``Advertisers have a finite number of on-air advertising opportunities, but Citium's Promotions Engine offers an expanded product inventory plus a value added service, increased site stickiness, and additional advertising program bundling possibilities.'' says Citium's founder and CEO, Vivek Gupta.

In addition to supporting RAB member stations, Citium will also provide similar services for the official RAB 2001 tradeshow web site, allowing the expected 60+ exhibitors and associated products and services companies the opportunity to engage 2500+ visitors months in advance of the show date.
